The Thermo Scientific line of liquid chromatography columns includes the Propel™ analytical columns, optimized for TLX systems. These Propel columns are recommended for biological fluids and complex matrices when C18 alone does not meet specific separation requirements. The Propel columns have been designed for laboratories working with complex samples in biological fluids that require a faster way of accomplishing sample preparation and analytical separation method development. The column dimensions have been optimized for maximum sensitivity and peak shape, employing a variety of chemistries for a wide range of selectivity.
When used on a TLX system, in conjunction with a patented TurboFlow column, the Propel columns provide a completely integrated method development system that handles both TurboFlow methods and analytical methods, all on one chromatography system. Only TLX systems minimize ion suppression and increase the speed of analysis on the same instrument.
