Cohesive Technologies Inc. Announces OEM Agreement with Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Inc.
FRANKLIN, Mass., June 5 – Cohesive Technologies Inc. (www.cohesivetech.com) announced today that it has entered into an OEM agreement with Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Inc., a leading supplier of analytical instrumentation, to further expand its Aria product line for drug discovery and development to include support for Shimadzu pumps. This agreement allows Cohesive to establish a strategic relationship with Shimadzu to broaden its high throughput LC solutions.
The Shimadzu pumps will provide customers with another high performance pump for Cohesive’s systems that will achieve consistent performance and enhanced separation. Cohesive’s Aria TurboFlow® systems enable pharmaceutical companies to virtually eliminate sample preparation for bioanalysis saving them significant time and money. In addition, the systems will multiplex in Turbo or laminar flow to bring the productivity of up to four separate systems to a single mass spectrometer (MS), thereby quadrupling the throughput of a traditional LC system.
