Reducing Analysis Time for Environmental Sources from Hours to Minutes
There is a growing concern over the presence of antibiotics and pesticides in agricultural commodities, drinking water, food, surface water, and other environmental sources. In response, environmental and governmental labs have developed LC-MS/MS methods to monitor water supplies. Unfortunately, extensive sample pre-concentration and cleanup is often required due to the low-level concentration of antibiotics in these sources. This time drain sharply reduces sample throughput. To solve this problem, we've developed a system that significantly reduces sample analysis time from hours to minutes, enabling the environmental sciences community to analyze a much wider range of analytes than current capabilities allow.
